Children's Weekday School
The purpose of the Children's Weekday School is to provide a well-rounded program for the children of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church and the surrounding community. The Weekday School is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, and independent accrediting system sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Our programs include:
Mother's Day Out
A choice of 1 or 2 days a week from 9:00 am. to 2:00 p.m. for children 11 months to 29 months old by September 1.
School for Little People
A preschool program for children 2-1/2 to 4 years old as of September 1. Class hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Two-, three- or five-day classes available. Stay and Play is available for children enrolled in this program and extends the day until 2 p.m.
Pre-Kindergarten
Children must be 4 years old by September 1. Class options include three- and five-day classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; a five day class that offers three days from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and two days from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Developmental Kindergarten
Offered for children who are 5 years old as of September 1. Our Monday–Friday program offers three days from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and two days from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Extended Care for Children of Working Parents
Available year round from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for infants three months old through Kindergarten.
Creative After-School Program [CAP]
An after school program from 3:00–6:00 p.m. daily for children attending Kindergarten through fifth grade. After-school transportation is provided from area schools. Five days a week or select days available. We offer summer programs for our CAP students.
Summer Activities
Includes day camps for pre-school and weekly theme and sport camps for elementary age children. Camp is offered to all children and is not limited to those enrolled in our school programs.
Our campus will be under construction this summer and we regret that we will be unable to offer our summer camps for 2007. Look for us in 2008—bigger and better able to serve you!
