Lifeway
Lifeway is an early enthusiastic recovery support system for people to begin learning to live responsible, principle-based lives. Lifeway seeks to unify families and communities applying the truths of early recovery through group support, education, and God as one understands Him. This support system is based upon spiritual principles but is not affiliated with any single organized religion. Through integrity, sharing mutual experience, and spirituality Lifeway's primary goal is to build a foundation to live lives free from self-destructive addictions.

AA for Women
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship where members can share their experiences, strength and hope to help solve their common problem. There are no dues or fees for membership. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help others alcoholics to achieve sobriety. MDUMC supports this program by providing a place for women to meet to find the support they need. This group meets Mondays in Room D216 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Childcare is provided. For more information, contact Franklin Olson at 713/468-8356 or franklinolson@mdumc.org.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon is an ongoing twelve-step fellowship providing support and help to those who live with someone who has alcohol or drug dependencies. Anyone whose life has been affected by a family member’s drinking is eligible for membership. If interested, you may attend weekly meetings at no charge each Thursday evening from 8:00–9:00 p.m. in Room D222.
