Mt. Sequoyah (July 29th - August 4th)
From Sunday, July 29th through Saturday August 4th, we will be in Fayetteville, AR. We will be staying in a 12 bedroom lodge on the premises of Mt. Sequoyah conference center.
For 5 consecutive nights at $ 25.00 a person. In the morning, we will work out in the Fayetteville community on mission and our work will consist of feeding the hungry, working on a farm project etc. In the afternoon, we will be working on projects for the Conference center and our work will consist of home repair, painting, gardening etc. We will be cooking and preparing our own meals as we have a kitchen in the lodge where we are staying. Our recreation day will be in Hot Springs AR.
On Thursday evening before we leave we will travel to Eureka Springs to see the famous Passion Play about $ 26.00 per person. Then on Friday we will travel to Hot Springs where I have reserved so far 6 rooms in Hotel on the main street where there will be a variety of museums and activities to choose from as well as mineral baths offered at the hotel. Cost for the hotel will be $ 50.00 per person. Gas for the trip will be about $ 50.00 per person. So far there is not a materials charge or very little. Meals will come to $ 20.00 to $ 30.00 per person at the lodge and this doesn’t include the few meals we will eat on the road. Probably about 4 meals at a nominal cost. The museums range from 0 cost to about $ 15.00 that being one’s choice and the mineral baths are $ 25.00 again one’s choice.
