Sports for Children and Youth at MDUMC
Memorial Drive Church has an outstanding ministry of Sports and Recreation. Over 600 children and youth play team sports throughout the year. We are long standing members of the West Houston Christian Sports Association. There are teams for soccer, basketball and baseball/teeball/softball during the school year. Camps for basketball and volleyball are held during the summer. Coaches are recruited from parents and other interested adults, who are certified in Safe Sanctuary, a Texas Annual Conference program to protect the safety of children and youth.
