Annual Women's Dinner
Monday, September 30, 2013
Doors open at 6PM, Dinner served at 6:30PM
Cost: $20 per person
Each fall over 300 women gather for an elegant evening of fine dining, fellowship, music and an inspirational message. Thirty hostesses plan tablescapes that boggle the imagination while the men of MDUMC serve as the gracious dinner waiters. Following dinner, women gather to hear a delightful and inspiring message from the guest speaker. Our most recent Women’s Dinner, which was held on September 24, 2012, hosted Epiphanie Mujawimana from ZOE Ministry. Epiphanie shared her testimony and how ZOE helps to break the cycle of poverty for orphans in 2-3 years. The women who attended the event raised over $10,000 for ZOE Ministry. This year we welcome Family Point Resources. FamilyPoint Resources is a nonprofit agency in the West Houston community dedicated to investing in the lives of children and families in order to help bridge social and economic gaps and be part of breaking cycles of poverty in the Nottingham Park area. Director Jason Roberts will share about the work being done and students will give testimonies about how their lives have been changed through this amazing nonprofit.
