Yoga at MDUMC
Hatha Yoga
Yoga helps to develop physical flexibility, balance, strength and endurance. It increases lung capacity and improves vascular circulation. The practice of yoga can also perk up self confidence and self image along with enhancing concentration, memory and sleep.
Classes are offered in 10 week semester sessions as follows:
* Winter ( Early January through mid March)
* Spring (following “Spring Break” late March through late May)
* Summer (Early June through late August)
* Fall (Late August through late October)
* Holiday session (six week semester early November through mid December)
You can turn up and register at any time.
We meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9:15–10:30 am for a total of 20 class sessions per semester.
Fees are as follows:
* Any 20 classes within a semester for $90
* Any 10 classes within a semester for $60
* Any 5 classes within a semester for $40
* Drop in for $10
Instructors: Bob Tait and Monique Dotson (Certified Yoga Instructors)
First class is free, so you are welcome to check it out. No experience necessary.
Please wear comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga mat and prepare to practice in bare feet.
