Yoga at MDUMC
Hatha Yoga
Yoga helps to
develop physical flexibility, balance, strength and endurance.
It increases lung capacity and improves vascular circulation. The
practice of yoga can also improve self confidence and self image along with improving concentration,
memory and sleep. Next 10 week session starts April 1st to June 5th,
2008.
Classes are
offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9:15–10:30 am and a NEW Saturday
morning class, 9:00 – 10:15 am.
* Two classes per week (Tues & Thurs) or 20 classes for $90
* One class per week (any Tues or Thurs in any one week) or 10 classes for $60
* Five class Flexi-card (any five classes at any time) for $40

For the SATURDAY morning class
yoga class sessions during the summer semester, we will begin
registration on Saturday June 7th in D 220, and run YOGA
classes through August 23rd.
We offer the following registration
packages:
- 10 classes for $60
- 5 classes for $40
- Drop in for $10
Golf Game Yoga
This class is
designed to benefit all levels of your golf game. Over time, you can develop a
basic yoga program that will help you increase club control, club head speed,
range of motion, facilitate better balance and reduce your risk of injury.
Next 8 week
session starts April 7th to June 2nd, 2008. We will not meet on Memorial Day,
May 26th. Classes are offered
Monday evenings, 6 pm

First class is
free, so you are welcome to check it out. No experience necessary.
Please wear
comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga mat or towel and prepare to practice in
bare feet.
