Shepherd Drive Fellowship
A Ministry of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church
Shepherd Drive Fellowship, a MDUMC ministry located inside
the Loop between I-10 and Memorial. SDF’s roots in the Washington
Ave/ Shepherd Drive
community reach back to 1899. In an effort to meet the growing needs of the
urban Houston transformation, Shepherd
Drive UMC merged with MDUMC in May of 2006.
SDF is in the process of re-envisioning their future, asking this one
important question: What does it mean to be the church is culturally diverse
area experiencing re-gentrification?
Our mission is to the Connection Point for the
community: Connecting people to God and
neighbor.
Our vision of SDF is to be the
light of Christ shining into a diverse community.
We are currently developing
plans to fulfill this mission and vision. If you have a pioneer spirit, there
is a place for you to serve at SDF. Join
us weekly for Sunday morning for Sunday School at 9:45
am and worship at 11 am. Bible Study is held Wednesday evening at 7 pm.

Beginning June 8th on 2nd
and 4th Sundays from Noon to 4pm at Shepherd Drive Fellowship located
at 600 Shepherd Drive, Houston, Texas 77007. Visit our market for
locally-produced vegetables, fruits and organic products.
