MDUMC Goes to New York!
We've been invited to present a concert at David Geffen Hall (home to the NY Philharmonic) at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday, March 30, 2026! We will be sharing the concert with the world famous composer and conductor, Ola Gjeilo. Sing In The Choir
All are invited to sing with us on that magnificent stage! We will start rehearsing for the project in January of 2026, and you would be welcome to join us. Email me to let me know you're interested, and then sign up below!

If you would like to play in the orchestra, contact me to discuss your instrument and preparation for the concert to see if you'd be a good fit for our group!

Notes about hotel/flight
The flight pricing also includes the packaged bussing to and from the hotel and bag portage to rooms. My travel agent was able to source the flights around $80 cheaper per person than we could find on our own, so keep that in mind when you look at the price for "transportation services".
The hotel is in an absolutely prime location, literally across the street from Lincoln Center. So walking/mobility issues shouldn't be a problem. Subways and taxis should not be needed for what we're doing (unless you want to go out and explore).

If you plan to go to New York, please pay the $300 deposit to perform or attend at your earliest convenience. You can do so by clicking this link: Performing at Lincoln Center Sign-up. This is to lock you in to perform and/or attend the concert, rehearsals, and VIP dinner afterparty. The total fee is $995 for performers, and $495 for attendees (rehearsal access, prime seating for concert, and VIP Party). This fee is separate from travel/accommodations. It covers cost for the space, stage hands, recording fees, and payment to DCINY for their work in putting us on this concert.
Price Totals
You'll find that the travel costs are roughly $1,000/person, therefore:
A performer's total cost would be roughly $2,000/person
An attendee's total cost would be roughly $1,500/person.
Please email me if you would like to make this trip but find finances to be a barrier. There is money available to assist you and I will do everything I can to help cover your performer cost (or more) if needed.
